i stand facing the wind
so i can
feel the world hit
me at a 1000
miles
a minute,
to prove
i can take a blow
stronger than
you.

Death Is A Reward, Not Answer
Please, don't cry -
Don't cry because I know
The reasons why you're crying,
And I'm right here telling you;
They're all wrong.
Please, don't hold your tears -
Sadness is an emotion to release
When it builds so much as it's for you,
And I'm right here to express to you, now;
It's okay to cry.
Just, don't believe the reasons
You're telling yourself -
And please, I beg
Put down the pills,
You don't need them.
Aside from it's not your time,
There isn't enough reason!
How many minutes will go by
As we're both drowning
In our own tears,
Screaming at each other?
How many hours has it been
Before writing this poem
That we've yelled
About why you

Faults and Regrets
Words are but a loss
When your mind
Is on a wander
Dreaming,
Caressing fantasies -
Simple fables,
But do we ever learn?
Love, hatred,
Contrast;
Muse.
We may win,
But we always
Lose.
Recover from mistakes
Repeat, repeat,
End -
Endless cycles
That are
To our routine
And yet,
What are words
But a loss
To wandering minds?
Where they go,
Where they hide -
What they see,
What they felt -
And our muse
Continues,
Always the same
Memory,
But always
A different
Time ~

Bag Of Dreams
I once knew a boy
Who carried his dreams on his back
And kept them together
In a burlap sack,
Which he hoisted
And heaved
Until finally
He'd leave
Usually in the same way
That he came,
With a bag full of dreams
A back full of pain
And with nowhere left to stay.
This boy
Though so small
carried it all
Without a single complaint,
While his legs seemed to stall
And continually tried to fall
At every bump in the road.
But on the boy walked
He could not be stopped
On his quest to keep his dreams.
So to help him along
I sang him a song
So mellifluous
And so sweet
It became a lullaby
And slowly shut his eyes
So he could finally go to sleep.

i wrote this one a couple days ago...; i was having a disagreement with someone i have close, and i tend to be generally passive when it comes to these things. i also find it very difficult to process emotionally, especially when it involves certain individuals.
honestly in my mind, this is kind of what if feels like. i'd rather take a blow from something stronger then in the moment, to prove that it doesn't hurt.
